BOOK CLUB was a sketch comedy show based on great works of literature, with many of the members contributing sketches. My personal contributions included "BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE SCARLET LETTER A" - where Hester Prynne sang about the seven deadly sins with Cookie Monster (wearing a G for Gluttony) and Oscar the Grouch (with an S for Sloth); and MOBY DICKLESS - a 15 minute, three act hyper-speed retelling of Mellville's seminal work, with a eunech Ahab leading an all-female crew to scour the seas for the diet-coke and Menthos spouting whale that left him unmanned...
