I SHOULDA EATEN MY PEAS AND CARROTS was a collaborative theatre experience - playwrights performing our own monologues, all based on truthful moments of regret, on times when we had compromised our morals, our beliefs and our common sense. Being part of this year-long project was an amazing experience - and a cathartic one. My piece - MOPPING THE STAGE - opened the show, and was a twenty minute monologue covering my decision to work for the Army as an instructor pilot at the start of the Iraq war. It was neither easy to write, nor to perform each night- but I will never regret doing so.
The play was produced at THE BLACK BOX THEATRE in Santa Monica.
