EVERY BATTLE, EVERY WAR evolved from a sketch written for the Coop Theatre Company's AMERICAN HISTORY 101.
While the play is funny, it has some poignant moments, and, I'd like to think, a message behind the silliness. American and British soldiers in a muddy trench start arguing
that fighting for "mom's apple pie" is not acceptable to British soldiers determined to fight for "King and Country". The title comes from the line Every battle, every war, is fought for things worth dying for.
This full version of the play took fourth place in the 4th annual competition at Millersville University in 2009.
