I don't write short screenplays. Well, looking at the list on the right, apparently I do - but I don't mean to. I've got enough on my plate with full length spec screenplays, pitch meetings, and getting plays produced. And yet, somehow, every now and then someone asks; or I have a fun idea that's not sustainable as a 90 minute feature but would make a great short. So I write it, which probably annoys my agent because I could be working on something that pays better... but I do. Because ideas left unwritten gradually die quiet, dusty deaths, like flies on a windowsill. Only less likely to be hit by a rolled up newspaper.
