Setting:
A bar. Written to be site-specific theatre, set in an actual bar, but can be performed on a stage.

Characters:
Kalli
A bartender who's seen it all, including a ghost.
Alice
A new hire.
Ghost
A mischevious spirit that haunts a bar. Likes popcorn.
Steve
General Manager. A decent type.

Strong Spirits is a ten minute comedy set in a bar, with the intention that it can be performed as site-specific theatre, in a working bar in and around the actual patrons.

I originally wrote the play for Kalli Randall and the Midnight Summit Ensemble Theatre, for a planned evening of performances at a Chicago bar. That production never happened...but a few years later, it was taken on by the Nomad Theatre!
