2015 -A Very Modern Marriage was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Ohio State 4th Annual New Plays Festival.

2013 - Arthur M. Jolly named an alternate selection for the Fox Writer's Intensive.

2012 -A Very Modern Marriage announced as a semi-finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Theatre's National Playwrights Conference, a finalist for the Actor's Theatre of Charlotte NuArts Festival, and an official selection of the Valdez Last Frontier Theatre Conference.

2009 - My short screenplay Eight ball makes TOP TEN FINALIST in the Pavaline Short Screenplay Competition.

2009 - Audience Favorite Award for the short play THE FINE PRINT in the Los Angeles New Plays Festival and Competition.

2008 - The AOPW Fellowship Award for my play PAST CURFEW.

2006 - The Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting, given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Academy Awards) for my screenplay THE FREE REPUBLIC OF BOBISTAN.

2006 - My action comedy screenplay SO BUSTED is a quarterfinalist in the 2006 American Screenplay Competition.
