Charles Dickens' classic tale A Christmas Carol gets a new ending when Ebeneezer is confronted by an unexpected visitor - a fourth and final ghost who hates Christmas!

Why this play?

Mostly because, like many people, I get down around the holdiays, and I just needed to laugh. While it speaks a little to the consumerism and excess of today's holiday season, it's mostly just funny for the sake of being funny. Isn't that reason enough?

It's available from the playwright, published in 105 Five-Minute Plays or on the New Play Exchange.
The play premiered at the Gorilla Tango Theatre in Chicago, and was revived at the Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica, the A Shot of Theater in Easthampton, Massachussetts, and by Coneman Running in Houston, Texas.
