I don't usually perform onstage, but recently I started telling autobiographical stories about my stunt-performing days, about childhood memories, and embarassing sexual moments, which for some reason seem to be very popular. I've performed at Loft Ensemble's Speakeasy and the Fringe Festival at the Valdez Thetare Conference. I may or may not seek out more opportunities, we'll see. I'm just having fun with it!
That said, if you have a storytelling event and are looking for someone, I'm someone! Feel free to contact me with any questions. |
Fire from the Inside at Loft Ensemble's Speakeasy
Fire from the Inside is about a fire stunt that went disastrously wrong. It became the basis for my first ever play, Howie's Last Words, so I guess some good came out of it. That, a little PTSD, and this story!
Civis Romanus Sum at Loft Ensemble's Speakeasy
Civis Romanus Sum is a funny one about a sexual escapade that resulted in significant property damage. It is PG-13 due to suggestive dialogue... because it's about sex. Right?
Fire from the Inside at Valdez Theatre Conference
Fire from the Inside at the Valdez Theatre Conference. There's nothing more nerve-wracking that talking to an entire audience of brilliant storytellers, writers, and actors, and I'm including being on fire in that comparison!
The Cake, the Kite, and the Fastnet Gale at Loft Ensemble's Speakeasy
The Cake, the Kite and the Fastnet Gale is a funny one about camping with my family during a natural disaster... and my Aunt June's famous Christmas Cake.
